Employment Solutions is currently accepting resumes to fill an Independent Contractor Recruiting position for a locally owned company located in Binghamton, NY. The Independent Contractor will be tasked with making outbound contact via phone and email to prospective leads that would be interested in contracting to sell coupon books to local community groups, schools, churches, and other groups.

Essential Functions of the Job

-Makes initial candidate contact and builds relationships/networks with prospective candidates in an effort to increase interest level in company opportunities.
-Qualify all new leads.
-Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping the Team Lead informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally or in written from Manage candidates in applicant tracking system.
-With recruitment marketing, identify key demographic / profile information for candidates.
-Update and track demographics / profile information in the applicant tracking system.
-Work with recruitment marketing to assist in the execution via various channels at specified times with targeted messaging.
-Meet with recruitment team on a regular basis to collaborate on optimum approaches to strengthen candidate pool, including annual recruiting strategies and diversity initiatives.
-Develop and execute innovative search techniques to generate a pool of candidates.
-Constantly seek new, innovative ways to improve sourcing process.
-Uses networking opportunities to identify individuals within competitor companies.
-Develop passive candidates through cold calling and data mining.
-Partner with Team Lead to develop a hot hire strategy to source for leads, both in and outside of applicant tracking system, and for hot hire locations.
-Turning contacts into candidates, candidates into applicants, tracking applicants to IC status.
-Identify alternative sources outside of the applicant tracking system, job boards and existing social media sites to locate, isolate and engage candidates.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities

-Attend daily meetings
-Meet and exceed touchpoint goals set by Team Lead.
-Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications -Basic computer skills, tech-savvy a plus. -Working knowledge of creating and manipulating spreadsheets. -Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets and Drive a plus! -Excellent communication skills. -Professional attitude and demeanor. -Ability to work independently and stay on task. -Attention to detail. -Light physical effort required. -Regularly required to sit or stand, and reach and bend. Temp to Perm $12/hr with the ability to earn commission after training ***Resume required
